Stage collapes at Indiana State Fair
A stage has collapsed at a concert at the Indiana State Fair. The stage was set up for the Sugarland concert at the state fairgrounds. Rigging for the stage lighting reportedly fell around 8:50 p.m., before the main act took the stage.
Police and fire crews believe they have everyone moved from the grandstand. A triage unit has been set up near the Hoosier Lottery exhibit at the fair. Other victims are also being transported to at least two area hospitals.
Several ambulances can be seen entering and leaving the area.
Fair and emergency officials are planning a news conference for shortly after 10 p.m.
Dave Lindquist, music journalist for The Indianapolis Star, reported on Twitter, "Tragedy at fair concert. Entire stage collapses on track." He also wrote that "perhaps a dozen injured people have been removed from track on stretcher-type boards." A report from two sources reported four people have lost there lives.

City leaders roll out plans for Black Expo safety
The city of Indianapolis is making sure to keep visitors safe at this years Black Expo Summer Celebration. Indianapolis law enforcement will be present at the downtown venue along with hundreds of volunteers. Indianapolis Metro Deputy Chief William Benjamin explained that a text line has been setup that allows people to report anything suspicious to police. "If you see something, text it to 308-0147 to get immediate response from law enforcement. Also in the past, we've allowed suspicious groups to walk by as law enforcement officers. That will not happen this weekend. We'll deal with them with courtesy and respect and deal with problems as we see fit," said Benjamin. The Black Expo is a family-based event, and this year, parents are encouraged to chaperone their children. There will also be a strict 11:00 p.m. curfew for kids 15 and under, and two pick-up points have been established for parents to get their children.
